Another fab sketch is up at 2 Sketches, and I, for once, have waited until Tuesday night to upload my card! Well, I didn't feel well last night, so I just got started and finished the card up tonight instead.
Thanks for stopping by :-)

Scrappiz' Cybercrop

I got two more layouts and one more card made for the CC at Scrappiz. I know I could have made a lot more, but there are always other things that have to be made. I'm not sure I' m too happy about any of these. I don't know, they aren't embellished as much as I usually make them.

This one has really cute photos at least. It's Albin and his adorable little girlfriend who have fallen asleep on the couch. Cozy, huh?
And the next one... well, there's a story behind this photo. We had friends over, and the kids were outside playing in the snow so that their poor mothers could be able to do some scrapping. Suddenly, my friend's little three-year-old comes running and tells me that I must grab my camera and come out and take some pictures. And this is what I was supposed to take pictures of, Albin, sitting as high up in an apple tree as possible. When I got him down from there, I asked what the was thinking, climbing so high. He said: "But mom, I just wanted you to get a couple of good photos to scrap!" Yeah, I sure did get a decent photo, and a good scare too. *LOL*
Yeah, and a card. A little bit different than I normally make them. Don't know if I like it...
Today I was at a local crop here at home, and I actually got four layouts made! Well, two of them aren't complete, because there's always some things you didn't know you needed to bring, right? But I'll try to finish them in a couple of days and blog them when I can.

Card Patterns #3

Yupp, told you, Saturday is a very good cardmakingday for me :-) Here's my take at sketch #3 over at Cardpatterns. Thanks girls for a really lovely sketch. I had a lot of Graphic 45 scraps lying around, so that's what I used. I love that tag!

Cybercrop again...

There's a cybercrop at the Swedish scrap community Scrappiz this week, and I made this card yesterday for a challenge there. I don't know how much more I will be able to participate, but I have found a couple of sketches I want to use, so I'll try getting those done at least :-)

Look at these papers... They're all from Graphic 45 Botanica Bella, and so gorgeous!

Kazan's sketch 20

It's Monday, and a new sketch at 2 sketches 4 you. This is my take. The bouquet of roses are made with a retro flower punch, silver wire, pearls and some white acrylic paint.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wowzers!

Look, I'm on the fab 5 list!

(OK, that confirms my theory about October Afternoon, you know, the one I wrote about a while ago, that with OA I can't go wrong. Last time on Fab 5 was also with an OA card)

Card Patterns #2

I found a brand new card sketch blog the other day, and what's so good about this one is that they blog a new sketch every Saturday (my favourite scrappy day of the week), wich means that I probably will be able to participate a lot, I hope. So, here's my take at this week's sketch.

Coughing...

Yeah, we've got the flu. So nothing much scrappy going on. I'm just too tired. Just wanted to show you this layout about Albin's taste in music. Do I have to mention that he loves Camp Rock? He even broke his CD-player playing the soundtrack over and over. And do I have to mention that I love Jenni Bowlin papers almost as much as he loves Camp Rock...
Off to blow my nose...

Another layout...

Here's another layout I made for the Nook VC I won a prize with this one too, a Martha Stewart punch. I don't know which one, but that will be a nice surprise when it comes. The challenge here was to stitch a heart on your layout. I stitched the one in the upper left corner straight onto the layout, and then I added two cross-stitched hearts as well.

Blessed

This is the layout I was telling you about with the October Afternoon parers, also made for a challenge at the Nook. I think it turned out pretty OK :-)

Oh well, gotta run. I've got two sick kids to take care of, and a house that's been turned completely upside down today while I've been at work. So please leave a little comment, I'm surely going to need every little bit of encouragement today ;-)

Edit: I sure did get some encouragement... I actually won this contest. And the prize was a GDT-spot at Scrapping the Music Germany. So, I'm off to make a happy dance :-)

Laura's sketch 19 and some EC4BC

There's a fabulous new sketch over at 2sketches4you now, and since I had my October Afternoon scraps spread all over the desk, I used some of them for a little card.

Do you have a brand of paper and stuff that just can't go wrong? For me, that brand is OA. I'm pretty sure nothing made from those papers can come out looking bad. I made a layout yesterday, also from the same line as the card, Weathervane, and it's been a long time since I felt so good about a layout I made. I'll show it to you in a while. It actually features the photo below.

And now over to the EC4BC, that is Eyecandy for Blogcandy, also over at 2S4U. To participate in the drawing for blogcandy, you have to post a picture of your personal eyecandy, and this is the only somewhat recent photo of my P where he doesn't make faces or do something else really immature, so you have to put up with the rest of the family too. You know, some people never get older than 15... ♥

There are no monsters...

For some reason, Agnes is terrified of monsters... The whole time she has been sharing her brother's room, she has been afraid that a monster would come out from the closet. Yeah, it's from watching Monsters INC. Letting the kids watch that movie probably wasn't the brightest idea I've got. However, once her room was finished, and she got to move all of her stuff in there, she hasn't been afraid. No more nightmares and worried nights, because she's convinced that no monsters can come in to that room. The fist thing she said when the room was all done and we let her in to check it out was: There are no monsters here. It's probably all the pink, girly stuff in there that scares them away *LOL*. Anyway, that comment she made was so sweet, and it definitely deserved a layout of it's own.
I've made the layout for a challenge at the VC at the Nook, which has taken place this weekend. The challenge was to use chipboard, and I used a couple of swirls from Maya Road, which I inked with Fluid Chalk creamy brown and covered with Glimmer Mist pearl. The papers are from Making Memories and Melissa Frances and the flowers are all from old candle rings.

Really girly stuff...

This little mini is something I had so much fun making. Just imagine, digging into all this lace and all these pink goodies... Not to mention all the glittery stuff. I've used a lot of the new stuff from Creative Café here. I totally love their spirit line, and I'm so happy they have added some new stuff.
You remember the fairy pictures, huh? This is what I dressed poor Agnes up for. Well, poor perhaps isn't the right word. She loves to dress up, so she was really happy the whole time.
I've used a really cute poem about how children see things differently than us adults, and about their wonderful imagination.

And once again, it seems as if blogger ate one of my photos... But if you want to see it, and what the rest of the design team has come up with this month, just pop in to Zutter Zisters to check out the galleries! Myself, I'm going to get started on next month's projects. I have this crazy idea (as usual), and I can't wait to see if I can realize it.
Have a great week, all of you :o)
